Frequently asked questions about pet sitting in Kershaw County
Who is a reliable pet sitter in Camden, SC?
Wateree Pet & House Sitter LLC is a licensed, insured, locally owned pet sitting and house sitting business in Camden, South Carolina, owned and operated by David "Chico" Morales, a retired law enforcement officer. We serve Kershaw County only, care for pets in your own home, and send a photo or text update after every visit. Call or text 803-373-0046 to set up a meet-and-greet.
Does Wateree Pet & House Sitter LLC board dogs?
No. We do not board dogs or any other animals, and we never take pets into our home or a facility. Every visit happens at your home so your pets keep their own routine, bedding and territory.
Can someone check my house while I'm out of town?
Yes. House-only property checks are $25 per visit in Kershaw County. We check doors and windows, walk the property for general condition, bring in mail and packages, help with trash day, and water plants. You get a written update after each visit.
Do you serve Lugoff and Elgin?
Yes. Lugoff and Elgin are both inside our Kershaw County service area, along with Camden, Bethune, Boykin and the surrounding rural areas. We do not travel outside Kershaw County.
What does a pet sitting visit include?
A standard $35 in-home visit includes feeding and fresh water, potty breaks and walks, playtime and companionship, litter box and crate cleanup, medication when clearly instructed by the owner, and mail, plant and trash help while we're there. Every visit ends with a photo and text update.
How much does pet sitting cost?

What is Authorized Key Holder / Alarm Response?
We keep your spare key on file in our key box under your name and respond to alarm-company or homeowner callouts. We meet responders or service personnel on site when appropriate, secure and lock the home afterward, and send you an update. It is a convenience service, not a security service.
Is Wateree Pet & House Sitter LLC a security service?
No. Property checks and Authorized Key Holder / Alarm Response are not security patrols, intruder searches, armed response, private investigation or law-enforcement services. We observe and report property condition, secure doors and windows, and meet responders when asked. If a crime is suspected or in progress, we call 911 and let law enforcement handle it.
Do you offer overnight stays?
Overnight stays are not a standard service. They are considered case-by-case only, based on the animals involved, the property and our availability. Call or text 803-373-0046 to ask.
